East Coast Music Review had the privilege of hearing Carbonstone’s latest track, Echoes, and let us tell you—it was epic! From the moment Corey James’ vocals hit, we were locked in. His powerful delivery, laced with raw emotion, had us on the edge of our seats, and it didn’t let go. James’ voice seamlessly weaves between haunting melodies and gritty intensity, creating a hypnotic yet heavy atmosphere that pulls you deeper into the track with every note.
And the guitars? Josh Provencio and Steve Junkins bring the fire. The riff work on Echoes is massive, fusing crushing Nu-Metal tones with digital-industrial soundscapes. The balance between the heavy crunch and electronic undertones gives this track a futuristic yet grounded feel—one that will please fans of both aggressive metal and synth-laden atmospherics. As if that wasn’t enough, Ted Hile’s drum work ties everything together with a tight, punchy rhythm section that keeps the energy at peak levels from start to finish.
Fans can get even more hyped because the official music video for Echoes will drop on October 25, 2024. Mark your calendars!

Carbonstone is on an undeniable upward trajectory. They’ve recently been nominated for Best Metal Band at the Maryland Music Awards 2024 and were chosen as 98 Rock's Band of the Month. Their blend of industrial alternative metal is a fusion of heavy guitars, infectious vocal hooks, and electronic synth elements, drawing influence from legends like Korn, Nine Inch Nails, Linkin Park, and Static-X. Yet, they’ve carved out a sound that’s unmistakably their own, merging melodic heaviness with digital innovation.
Let’s not forget their last single, White Noise. It’s dominated the airwaves, claiming the #1 spot on several radio stations and holding strong for 20 weeks straight as the most requested track on Indie Rage Radio FM.
Carbonstone has shared the stage with some heavy hitters over the past year, including Orgy, Cold, Drowning Pool, Saliva, Nita Strauss, and more. This band is a force to be reckoned with, and they’re just getting started.
With Corey James leading the charge on vocals and guitars, backed by Josh Provencio (guitars), Eric Dee (bass), Ted Hile (drums), Steve Junkins (guitars), and, of course, “Frankie” the Nightmare Hype Bear—Carbonstone is a band that can’t be ignored.
Get ready for Echoes and keep an eye on this industrial metal powerhouse as they continue to rise! 🤘
